Rates Cuts Ahead! Nirvana or Siren Call?

Falling and low interest rates supported the stock market for nigh-on 10 years from 2009. Eventually central banks started edging rates up, but in Autumn 2018 the markets took fright at a time when the global economy was also obviously slowing (and no, you can’t blame Brexit for that).
